The Murray Library Hostel

Sea View Rooms - Self Catering

About us

We have always been a hostel off the beaten track, steering away from mass tourism. We offer clean, safe and comfortable rooms, all with a sea view, at the heart of our East Neuk community.

The Murray Library Hostel welcomes visitors to Anstruther (Scotland), located in the heart of Fife’s East Neuk region (Kingdom of Fife), the perfect starting point to discover the fishing villages and the breathtaking coastal scenery. The Library has been converted into a cosy accommodation with comfortable, all sea view rooms, a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering purposes, and large communal areas to share your tales of adventures halfway along the brilliantly varied coastal path.

If you are looking for a hostel in Anstruther or in St Andrews, it will be a pleasure to have you as our guest. We will do our best to make your stay an enjoyable and relaxing one.
